Our goal is to be like Christ.

To do so we must submit every thought to God.

To do so, we must remove the ego, flesh and lust and become the least of the least.

In this space we can submit all to God

We prepare for a life line of eternity, not an earthly life line.

To do this, we must be warriors and we will be perpetually be at mental and physical war.

To combat the enemy we must call upon God to rebuke the devil and our weapon is the sword (word) and we have been given the gift of The Holy Spirit.

We are at war and our souls are at stake. Fight for God and wield the sword.

(All good movies start at the end. Let’s keep things simple, this site was intended to be a simple person thoughts on how to wake up and be a warrior for God everyday.

The word, the Bible, has all the tools we need. It is amazing because I sought the Holy Spirit for wisdom to fight and The Spirit shared with me many ideas.  I wrote them down and as I continued to peruse my biblical studies, I realized it was in the word all along.

It’s amazing how each one of our paths to God is different. The good news is that word is the path and will lead us. No matter where we are in our walk remember:

The throne is open. The tomb is empty. The Lamb atones. The Spirit dwells within. Submit to God. Resist the devil. Take up the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God. Fight the good fight of faith.

Reference in being like Christ.

  • 1 John 2:6 (KJV): “He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked.”

  • Philippians 2:5: “Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus.”

  • 1 Corinthians 11:1: “Be ye followers of me, even as I also am of Christ.”

  • Ephesians 5:1–2: “Be ye therefore followers of God, as dear children; And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us…”

  • 1 Peter 2:21: Christ “left us an example, that ye should follow his steps.”

  • Romans 8:29: God’s purpose is that believers be “conformed to the image of his Son.”
